My name is Denni Dennis and I was born in Denmark in 1968.

I was raised in a little country town where imagination was a great help in not being bored to death. Even still, many strange incidents, peculiar characters and absurd experiences came my way.

At 4, I saw for the first time at my public school, a school comedy.

On my way home from the school comedy, I sat in the backseat of my parents car, awed by cupid’s arrow, deep in my heart with this meeting with such a magical world. High on happiness I was kept awake all through that night. The magicla universe of theater had become a part of me.

Throughout my teenage years I threw myself with a ferocious appetite into all the amateur theater groups existing within a mile’s radius.

As an adult I moved to Copenhagen and was able to professionally cultivate my passion, at both small and large theaters.  It was in this manner I came across everything from Shakespeare, Greek comedy to new Danish drama. I established my own ”Vampire Ensemble” that led us to throughout Eastern Europe’s streets and small theaters.

Later on I was introduced to the art of physical performance theater which led me back to Eastern Europe to research and find material for my theater performance -  ”Binkowski”.

Then one day I saw the new circus, Cirkus Cirkör perform. WOW,…there it was again, the magic hit my heart yet one more time. It was chrystal clear  that I had to enter this universe of daredevil artists and poetic clowns. An old tradition i contemporary colors.

Now, here I am, two years later. I have completed my studies at The Commedia School and am now a professional clown ready to continue my journey into the magic’s magical world with clowns, new circus and variety theater.
